Domjoi v0.4 Changelog

The following tasks from Trello were done:

Task simplification (internally tasks had multiple not-used fields, that I thought would be useful but were not). After this change, a lot of code was cleaned and removed.

Input for Game Director -> add very simple mood -> (angry, disappointed, neutral, happy, pleased). She now has simple moods. If you click “done” she is getting happier if you are disobeying she will become disappointed. At the moment her mood is used only by naming module (for example she might call you her Cutie when she is happy and Slut when is not). This task required some UI work + a little bit of programming. This task involved creating better handling for feedback functions.

Decisions - How is your day? She asks how you are feeling at the beginning of the session. This required some new callback functions.

Outfit classes This task was required to strip her :). In the future, I would like to add new outfits.

Positive/negative sub names based on mood. This task is self-explanatory.

Decisions - PoC - strip the domjoi. This was the first decision in the game. It required a new callback functions for striping.

c++ game director - make positions enums Positions are not enums in the end (c++ sucks in so many aspects), but rather static strings, but it allowed better handling for positions.

BugFix -> new task should be only invoked by gamedirector from this point on :) Well, other elements of the architecture should not ask about new tasks. It simplified the workflow.

Timed tasks This is a new feature. I added multiple new timed tasks. This was possible and easy to manage because Event Queue was implemented in version 0.3.

GameStateMachine Better handling for game state. It is still not what I have imagined, but it’s good enough in its current state.

Reduce BaseTask -> min/max Amount and min/max Time are the same. Further simplification of BaseTask -> continuation of the “Task simplification”.

Timed task bug -> starting counting when UI is ready. Bug fix.

Ask about the stripping only once. She would ask to strip in the middle of a session. Sometimes she would also ask about this “ending” when certain criteria were met.

Daz -> To Unreal + Unreal changes + Animation blend pipeline This is another huge improvement. This is a new pipeline that was used for ass worship and breats worship scenes. I’m happy with this new pipeline since creating a new scene now takes about 2-3 hours instead of 8. I also managed to improve some older animations with new pipelines and use additive animations for “idle” animation instead of blending.

Fix counted task when a string is long.

So problem is that the part that is responsible for proper word splitting is in C++ (GameDirector). The visual part (Scene director) simply prints whatever it get.

When the first “run” the tasks like: Your madam believes that it’s time to you pull your nipples for 30 seconds

In the next “run” (next second) becomes:

Your madam believes that it’s time to pull your nipples for 29

This task was a bugfix.

New modeling pipeline with Daz3D This should be the subtask. But it was a task that I created earlier so I closed it with the “Daz -> To Unreal + Unreal changes + Animation blend pipeline.”

Text Changed set max length as a new variable. Simple programming task

Add ‘end’ that will move back to the MenuMap. Bringing the user back to the main menu after finishing the session.

Remove “Yours” when it shouldn’t be used. Some bugfixes for some tasks (I won’t look into git history to check which one ;)).

Buy pixie-willow NSFW sounds. I bought some of her most popular NSFW sounds and some of them might be useful. Before buying, I thought about different voice actors but I liked her the most. If I get more money for this project I would hire her to get one that is more suitable for this game. This sound pack should be used in the next release. And who knows maybe in the future I will add multiple different voice actors (good idea IMO).

Nicer Itch.io page The Saki_Sliz from f95zone was very friendly and told me that I should fix multiple problems with my current marketing. I’m grateful for this feedback.

Lastly, I’m developing new strategies and adjusting a little bit due to some books that I’m reading (about game development :)).
