DomJoi v0.6 released - changelog


Howdy!

First of all sorry for the few days delay. I have professional exams and work-related travels so it was hard to work on the game in full-focus mode.

The following changes were made to the game:

  • Update to Unreal 5.2.1 I hope that with other changes it will get rid of the Fatal Error! bug that some people experienced.
  • Game more endings. Most of the kinks have special endings like “cum while deepthroating your insertable” etc.
  • The new endings have many more animations/positions depending on the “worship” kinks enabled. (The Breast and Ass animations are always added to “base” animations/poses/positions).
  • Crotch Worship was added. With 3 new animations/poses added to the game.
  • Some animations were glitching due to the Foot IK that was included in the model. I created a way to skip the - Foot IK and it was not as trivial as it sounds as Unreal does not support branching in animation blueprint (AnimGraph). I also applied this fix to multiple animations (some of them not included yet), and it worked like a charm :)! This fix was necessary because Crotch worship requires animations/poses that are very sensitive to Foot IK.
  • This release adds belly worship with 3 different animations/poses.
  • This release adds armpit worship with 2 different animations/poses.
  • Very basic facial expressions. The next release will add better facial expressions and voice acting. You can read more about it here https://www.patreon.com/posts/dev-log-changing-97142330
  • Separated task clusters (the task sets) so You should not be overwhelmed with timed-only tasks. It should make timed tasks and counted tasks more even
  • Custom DomNames
  • Custom SubNames
  • Custom naming with current options means that it is endgame when it comes to this subsystem. There won’t be probably more changes to the naming module as there is literally nothing more (OFC some names could become main menu options). The custom dom names and sub names allow You to create any combinations including one that I cannot put into the game because well…. I’m not in your head :)
  • [Feedback Based] The game now supports a mouse when playing
  • [Feedback Based] The Task Field/Button is not clickable
  • [Feedback Based] Buttons now clear markers.
  • The Discord shortcut is now available in the main menu.

Other things:

  • I finished the nice book about game development and implemented some of the strategies and ideas.
  • I bought an older iPhone because I need Live Link (Facial Animations) and already played with it.
  • Configured Patreon so Patreons are visible on Discord and have their special channel

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who supported development, especially financially. This was the first release that allowed me to buy coffee (or two) and it felt amazing. You have no idea how much joy each Patreon and Itch.io payment gave me. It felt great and I will cheer this memory. If you can afford it - please consider supporting development. I promise that I will work on the game. I would also to thank everyone who gave constructive feedback.

After this release, the standard development cycle begins:

  • Getting feedback/bug fixing/community 2/3 days
  • Patreon pool on the features && starting work -(3/4 days)
  • Official scope (1 day)
  • Development (up to 40 days) - the aim for the next release is 30 days as I have more time to work on the project ATM
  • New Release should take 37 - 47 days

Sorry for being so slow with releases, but I’m unable to work more until I get more money. I’m an adult pretender with a mortgage and family, trying to support my relatives and friends.
